Holistic Healing Arts Studio announces Red Tent for women of all ages STARKVILLE MS - Soulflower Healing Arts Studio is offering their first community Red Tent for women of all ages on October 9th at 6 PM. “Throughout history and across a wide variety of traditions and cultures, including during Biblical times, women of all ages have gathered together to nourish each other during these times of their cycles.” states Mandi Sanders, a community herbalist and one of the facilitators. “The need for multi-generational woman-centered gathering is great and something our community needs. I've hosted several Red Tents in the past in a private setting, but I'm excited that we are able to offer this intimate experience to the community utilizing the space at Soulflower.” The Red Tent serves as a safe space for women of all generations to grow and share their gifts. Being a part of the red tent helps us remember the ancient wisdom of the women who came before. In this red tent experience, we will hear about the history and importance of the red tent and ancient healing practices while eating chocolate and sipping on herbal teas. We will also tap into our creative healing energy through working with water colors and clay around a lunar theme. This Red Tent will be facilitated by Mandi Sanders and Ali Fratesi Pinion and is open to the public. Cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members, plus a $10 materials fee.
