Our ancestors have been working with the Earth and the cosmos throughout human history--even the seasons of Christianity are based on lunar cycles. Working with the lunar cycles simply means that you're developing a relationship with the moon. In developing that relationship, you can deepen your relationship with yourself, learn more about yourself, get closer to the truth of what you WANT and learn more about how to open yourself to receiving it.

The Moon may seem ever-changing, but the Moon is one of the most consistent energies with which one can connect. It is cyclical. It is predictable. Every day is an opportunity to start over. Every lunar cycle is an opportunity to rebirth yourself anew. Each lunar cycle brings unique opportunities for transformation. Simply watching as the Moon waxes and wanes is one of the quickest and easiest ways to connect with your own dynamic nature and find real balance in mind, body and spirit.

“Commune with the Moon” workshops and rituals at Soulflower Healing Arts Studio help you utilize the balancing capacity of a lunar cycle rooted in the Earthy and health-conscious energy of Virgo as you work towards bringing your body and your routine back into balance after a Summer whose energies have been chaotic and destabilizing for many.

If you've never worked with the lunar cycles before, "Commune with the Moon" is the perfect opportunity to learn how the Moon can assist you in facilitating consistent healing and manifestation in your own life. You can't manifest your desires without healing and whenever you heal, you open yourself up to manifesting more than you imagined and serving the world more than you dreamed possible, simply by living your truth. Communing with the Moon allows you to learn more about how to use the entire lunar cycle and your entire self to receive the energy you need so that you can offer it back to the world and those who need it most.

  • New Moon Ritual where we will set intentions and I will offer practices for maintaining and manifesting those intentions throughout the cycle
 
Week 2 (1st Quarter Moon):
  • A reflection on the energy of this phase of the moon and the energy it’s embodying
  • Information about this particular phase of the Moon
  • Meditation/Reflection prompts to help you connect with your intuition during this particular phase and energy the Moon’s embodying
  • Practice accountability & time to share about your first week working with these rituals and this energy  ​
Week 3 (Full Moon):
  • A reflection on the energy of this particular Full Moon
  • Information about this phase of the Moon and how to work with it to find the most healing and manifestation
  • Meditation/Reflection prompts to help you focus on your intentions during this phase of the Moon
  • Full Moon Ritual with discussion/share time/celebration of community

  • A reflection on the energy of this phase of the Moon and the energy it’s embodying
  • Information about this phase of the Moon and what to expect over the final week of the lunar cycle
  • Meditation/Reflection prompts to allow you to release what’s no longer serving you (people, places, things, relationships, relational patterns, mental/emotional/spiritual patterns, etc)
  • Ritual to close the circle and share final thoughts/experiences
